About me

Before I became an SLP, I attended Professional Culinary Institute in California to become a pastry chef right out of high school. I worked at restaurants and bakeries. Even though I decided I did not want to be a pastry chef for the rest of my life, I still love to bake today!

I wanted to become an SLP to help others like I have been helped. Throughout my life, I have struggled with feeding and swallowing difficulties. It is for this reason that feeding and swallowing is my passion and why I wanted to become an SLP. Other interests of mine are early intervention, apraxia, and stuttering. I love working with children and coaching caregivers in making speech, language, feeding, and swallowing possible. When I am not working, I love being with my two dogs, doing yoga, and watching Netflix.

I'm always looking for new and exciting opportunities. Let's connect.
